Humbert knocked out by Diallo in semi-final at ’s-Hertogenbosch

Ugo Humbert won’t be playing in a second final this year after Marseille. The Frenchman, ranked 20th in the world, was defeated in the semi-final at ’s-Hertogenbosch by Gabriel Diallo (6-3, 7-6). He struggled in the match, committing 25 unforced errors to just 11 winners and failing to earn a single break point. Diallo, who took down Karen Khachanov in yesterday’s quarter-final, continues his impressive run on the Dutch grass and will break into the top 50 on Monday. In the final, he’ll face Zizou Bergs, who eliminated Reilly Opelka (6-1, 6-4). Both players, ranked 55th and 63rd respectively, will be aiming to claim their first-ever ATP Tour title.
