Sinner on expectations for his return: "The first matches will be very tough"

Jannik Sinner is just two weeks away from his return to competition. The world No. 1 will have the chance to make his comeback at the Rome Masters 1000, in front of a crowd that will be firmly behind him. In comments reported by Tennis.com, the Italian was cautious about his ambitions: "Now that we’re less than a month away, I’ve been training extremely hard. I hope to find some rhythm before this clay-court season. It won’t be easy. The first matches will be very tough." Sinner also spoke about his break from professional tennis, which allowed him to recharge: "At the start of the three-month period, it was nice. Having some time away from the routine, spending time with family and friends… I did new things and got to know myself better. I think it helped me a lot."
