Auger-Aliassime Last-Minute Wildcard Entry for Estoril Challenger
The Madrid Masters 1000 ended early for Félix Auger-Aliassime, who was knocked out in the second round by qualifier Juan Manuel Cerundolo.
Last year’s finalist has taken a big hit in the rankings and will drop out of the Top 20, virtually landing at 26th in the world. To keep his rhythm and continue playing on clay, he has received a wildcard for the Estoril Challenger, which starts tomorrow and runs until 4 May.
Alex Michelsen, Nuno Borges, Kei Nishikori, and Joao Fonseca will also feature in the Portuguese tournament.
