Draw for the ATP 500 tournament in Halle: Sinner and Zverev headline, three French players also scheduled in Germany

Similar to the Queen's Club Championships, the Halle tournament attracts some of the world's best players. On the German grass, the competing players will try to make their way to the final, hoping to succeed Jannik Sinner, who won last year. The world number 1 is indeed the main candidate for retaining his title and will start against a qualifier. If successful, he will face either Alexandre Muller or Alexander Bublik in the round of 16. Last year's finalist, Hubert Hurkacz will face Tomas Machac from the first round. Andrey Rublev, the fourth seed, will start his tournament against a qualifier and may face Pedro Martinez or Tomas Martin Etcheverry for a spot in the quarterfinals. In his first tournament with new coach Goran Ivanisevic, Stefanos Tsitsipas will play against Luciano Darderi, and Daniil Medvedev will try to overcome Daniel Altmaier. The Russian could meet Quentin Halys in the round of 16, should the Frenchman win his first match against an undetermined opponent. The third French player in the draw, Ugo Humbert, will face what's expected to be an explosive match against another lefty, Denis Shapovalov. As a wildcard entrant, João Fonseca will challenge Flavio Cobolli. Lastly, Alexander Zverev, the second seed, will play his first round against Marcos Giron. If he wins, he will face the winner of the duel between Lorenzo Sonego and Jan-Lennard Struff. Find the full tournament draw for Halle below.
